One Word, One Intention: A Simple Practice to Ground Your Week
In the rush of daily life, it's easy to get swept up in noise — to-do lists, appointments, deadlines, even our own inner chatter. But what if one simple word could serve as a gentle anchor? A guiding light that brings us back to what matters most?
At Younalome Yoga, we believe in the power of small, intentional practices that support a big, meaningful life. And choosing one word each week is one of those practices.
It’s not about being perfect.
It’s not even about being productive.
It’s about being present.
🌿 Why One Word?
Your word becomes a touchstone — something to return to when you feel scattered, overwhelmed, or disconnected. It's a whisper of clarity. A soft, sacred reminder of the version of you that you're nurturing.
Some of my past words?
Aligned. Brave. Receptive. Nourish. Rooted.
Each word brought its own medicine, showing up in moments I didn’t expect — reminding me to breathe, pause, listen, and choose again.
🖋 Journaling Prompts: Connect to Your Word
What word am I feeling drawn to this week? Why?
What part of my life is calling for more intention or attention?
How do I want to feel when I wake up each morning?
What would it look like to embody this word throughout my week?
What thoughts, habits, or patterns can I gently release to stay aligned with my word?
Take 5–10 minutes each morning (or evening) to revisit these. Let your answers evolve.
As always, thank you for being here — for showing up for yourself, for your practice, and for this community.
May your word this week meet you exactly where you are and carry you gently toward where you’re meant to go.
I’d love to hear what word you choose — drop it in the comments, share it on Instagram, or whisper it to yourself every morning as a quiet act of devotion.
With love and intention,
